B.Sc In Behavioural Science & Applied Psychology
Behavioural science is the study of why we do & what we do. Its aim is to understand as best as possible the (often complex and counter-intuitive) mechanisms by which we make the judgments and decisions which inform our behaviour. There has been much interest in behavioural science over recent years, particularly from the market research and marketing industries. What a behavioral science degree provides is an interdisciplinary approach to studying human behavior. It uses cognitive science, psychology, sociology, anthropology, and even artificial intelligence (AI) to explore and analyze human actions, habits, and intentions.
The students in the B.Sc. in Behavioural Science & Applied Psychology program at SKFGI would have to undergo a rigorous academic engagement with parallel exposure to industry/corporate/health sectors for real time learning. The students would be able to apply these skills in human resources, social and community management or other relevant areas. The students will also develop strong analytical skills, which are essential to accurately understanding an individual’s behavioral patterns. This course at SKFGI prepares the students to help people to overcome personal or socioeconomic roadblocks to improve their well-being. The students get prepared to help people care for their mental health, especially when faced with challenges such as grief, marital problems, and anxiety.
