As the labour market becomes more specialized and economies demand higher levels of skill, governments and businesses are increasingly investing in the future of vocational education through collaboration of colleges, for imparting theoretical knowledge and traineeship from industry to enhance the practical skills of the students. D.Voc courses are job-oriented programs with a focus on imparting hand-on skills with a view to making students employable in the corresponding sectors. After pursuing D.Voc at SKF, students shall also be equipped to start their own venture. The Diploma in Vocational Engineering (D.Voc) programme of SKF is a 3 year (full time) course and it is recognized by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the West Bengal State Council for Technical and Vocational Education & Skill Development (WBCT&VE&SD).

In these courses, students will perform on job training at reputed industries who have partnered with us in this endeavour. This is a three years course and on completion of 1st year and 2nd year, students will be awarded Level 3 and Level 4 Certificate corresponding to National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) Level 3 and 4. On completion of 3rd year, they will be awarded Diploma in Vocation (D.Voc.). All the Certificate and Diploma will be awarded by West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBST&VE&SD), Govt. of West Bengal.

Vocational Courses in Mechanical Manufacturing runs with a mission to impart knowledge, technical skills & hands on training in production, focusing on manufacturing, quality control, CNC technology and machine maintenance. This program is an outcome of industry and student demand. Only Diploma program in manufacturing with more than 60% practical to make one more employable and out shine his/her career. Students under this program will use application of engineering and management techniques to simplify the production process. The main aim of production technology is to solve problems and challenges arising in the field of production/manufacturing.
